All roads lead to your hub.
The premise of InvestorHub is this: you already have a message resonates with investors in a one-on-one scenario. Pitching in a room, across a table, or on a call 1:1 works well.
The hard part is scaling that message. Enter InvestorHub.
We don't just want to add scale here - we want to change the dynamic - we want it to be easier to get every incremental investor. We want leverage.
InvestorHub works by bringing the market to you, allowing you to establish a direct one-to-many relationship with both existing and potential investors. The fundamental principle of InvestorHub is leverage: say, write, or present something once (and publish it on your hub) and then let the technology take care of scaling its reach and impact.
In order to bring the market to you, though, you need to build the roads that take them there.
This is where backlinks come in.
Backlinks, the roads that drive hub traffic.
I recently wrote about how to optimise your ASX announcement links, and if you haven't already done this, then I strongly recommend that you do, as optimised links drive an average 9.6x increase in announcement click throughs!
Backlinks are the next step, and are a crucial consideration, as they pull traffic from all non-regulatory newsflow sources, such as websites, social media, and promotional articles. Backlinks make sure that you get a long-term benefit from short-term promotion.
Social media posting creates short-term engagement of known contacts. People are already following you on, say, LinkedIn and get served your newsflow. They see it, maybe like it, but go back to scrolling the feed. We want to direct them out of there, to your Hub, to sign up and engage direct.
Other websites or promotional content might use your newsflow to engage their readership. As much as possible we want to take this (1) short-term hit of interest, and turn it into (2) long-term belief in the company. If we can use a backlink to get their audience to become your shareholder then it is a great trade!
[Pro tip: If you are doing paid media then tell them they have to include a backlink. If you do this, create a custom Link in Menu -> Engage -> Links to track direct engagement from the paid media piece!]
A simple way to always include links is to create a boilerplate for your social and promotional IR posts. I have included an example below that you can modify to suit your needs.
{Company} is a mineral explorer primarily focused on our {project} in the {region}. We invite current shareholders and the broader market to become a part of our story and sign up to our interactive investor hub at {link}.
