Insights from Vedran Sabic, InvestorHub Accredited Advisor & Co-Founder of Drop Corporate Solutions.

This week we're lucky to have a guest contributor - one of our newly minted InvestorHub Accredited Advisors.

Vedran Sabic (Co-Founder of Drop Corporate Solutions) and the team are sharing their recommendations for recording high quality video using InvestorHub.

Whether you're producing in 4K-HD and uploading to the platform, or recording an on-the-fly update with our 2 click upload to complement an announcement, Vedran's tips are sure to help set your next video up for success

You can watch the full video here or continue reading below.

1. Get comfortable in front of the camera.

Attention spans in the digital age are short and investors form opinions quickly.

We know that the average investor won’t read detailed, compliance heavy announcements. Capture their attention with a short explainer video on why they should care about your announcement.

It doesn’t have to be fancy, but if you want to take your video to the next level, a few simple tricks like good natural lighting and thoughtful framing can have a big impact.

2. Speak clearly. Without the jargon.

Clarity builds confidence. While your business may be complex, your message shouldn't be. Aim for language that’s confident, informed, and easy to follow.

Investors want to understand your opportunity quickly, without needing to decode technical terms or buzzwords.

3. Show, don't just tell.

Data is important.

Presenting it in a digestible way is equally as important. Instead of static graphs or lengthy explanations, try and present why it's relevant to investors, how it affects the business, and what they can expect going forward.

Here is a great example of Amanda from Warriedar Resources presenting an ASX announcement in a really engaging way.

4. Bring your team to the forefront.

People invest in people.

Help investors connect with your team, not just your numbers. Short team stories or founder messages can humanise your company and reinforce trust in your leadership.

It’s one of the most underused but impactful elements of strong investor comms.

5. Keep it concise, and well-paced.

Time is your most precious asset.

A focused, well-structured video of 90–180 seconds will typically outperform a 10-minute monologue. Think of it as a pitch: lead with the opportunity, support it with insight, and leave your audience wanting more.
