Start 2025 with the perfect welcome for investors.

We've got a lot planned for 2025 and I'm sure you do too. I'm going to take one thing off your plate and walk you through how to scale a single welcome video into a complete investor engagement plan.

Hi team,

I'm Dylan, Client Success Lead, and I'm here with the first fortnightly update for the client community in 2025.

For those new to InvestorHub (or anyone needing a refresher), every two weeks I share insights, feature updates, and easy-to-implement tips to make the most of our platform. If you've missed any prior updates, you can catch up on them here.

We've got a lot planned for 2025 and I'm sure you do too. So today, I'm going to take one thing off your plate and walk you through how to scale a single welcome video into a complete investor engagement plan with InvestorHub.

Let's get into it,

Dylan.

What you can start with.

The goal is to take a single input (recording a welcome video) and scale it to as many investors as possible. This guide will focus on the Hub Builder, Company Hub, Email Campaigns, and Segments features for execution.

(1) Start by recording a short two to three minute video.

  • Focus on what 2025 looks like for your company (I've included a simple script at the bottom of this email that you can follow so keep reading).
  • Publish this as an update on your company investor hub.
  • Add it to your 'Home' or 'Why Invest' page (this requires Hub Builder so let me know and I'll activate that feature for you).

(2) Distribute this video at scale through an email campaign.

  • Start with core distribution (welcome video via email campaign).
  • Invite HNWs to personalised sessions with a segmented email campaign (the Segments tool is your friend here).
  • If you're feeling fancy, go a step further and create a newsletter to showcase the exciting work you've been doing (like our friends at Dreadnought).

(3) Monitor who engages with the email and follow-up.

  • The primary success metric to monitor is click throughs.
  • Who has clicked, have they signed up, or asked a question?
  • An investor who clicks has their eye on your company so make it a quarterly goal to prioritise and engage this cohort into long-term advocates.

Here's why it's important.

By sharing a welcome message, you're setting the tone for 2025 and creating a strong anchor for the rest of your investor communications. It's how you can gauge interest, identify key investors to engage, and plan for your next capital raise.

And distributing it through InvestorHub as part of a complete investor engagement plan lets you get the most bang for your buck, with the time you're investing. If you've got any questions about this, reach out to me and I'll be happy to go through it with you.

A simple video script you can follow.

I get this question all the time, and there is no one-size-fits-all answer. My advice - keep it simple. Like you, your investors are busy people. Give them what they want and get straight to the point. If you're not sure where to start, here's a simple formula you could use to structure the message.

  • Problem
What is the problem your company is trying to solve?
  • Positioning
How is your company positioned to solve this problem?
  • Prospects
What does the future look like when you've fixed the problem?
  • Pitch
What do you need from your investors to make this happen?

If you need some help with this, shoot me a message, for support on the script, video, and any questions around distributing this content to your investors.

But otherwise, here's to a great start to 2025!

Dylan.
